The 4th Infantry Division — the legendary Ivy Division — answered the call on 25 September 1966, deploying from Fort Lewis to the jungles of Vietnam. For over four years, its soldiers fought through the unforgiving terrain of the Central Highlands, War Zone C, and beyond — from Operation Attleboro to Operation Junction City — before returning home on 8 December 1970.
