Unit History
The 11th Engineer Battalion is an engineer battalion of the US Army. Today the battalion is part of the Eighth Army and stationed in South Korea. The battalion under the direct command of the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade of the 2nd Infantry Division. Camp Humphreys (Korean: 캠프 험프리스), also known as United States Army Garrison-Humphreys (USAG-H), is a United States Army garrison located near Anjeong-ri and Pyeongtaek metropolitan areas in South Korea.[3] Camp Humphreys is home to Desiderio Army Airfield, the busiest U.S. Army airfield in Asia, with an 8,124-foot (2,476 m) runway.
