Naval Air Station Oceana — Where Strike Fighters Rule the Sky

There's a roar that shakes the Virginia Beach coastline — the unmistakable thunder of F/A-18E/F Super Hornets launching from Naval Air Station Oceana, the U.S. Navy's premier master jet base on the East Coast. This tee is built for those who know that sound, who've lived under those contrails, or who carry that legacy in their blood.

The History Behind the Insignia

Commissioned in 1943 and named Apollo Soucek Field in honor of the Navy test pilot who broke the global altitude record in 1930, NAS Oceana has been the beating heart of carrier aviation for over 80 years. Home to 14 deployable Strike Fighter squadrons, Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic, and Carrier Air Wings 1, 3, 7, and 8 — this is where the Navy's sharpest edge is forged.

Wear the Mission

  • Classic fit — structured, clean, and built to last through every wash
  • Available in 5 colors: Black, White, Military Green, Navy, and Tan
  • Sizes S–3XL — because heritage fits everyone
  • Lightweight yet durable — comfortable enough for everyday wear, tough enough to honor the mission
  • Made in the USA — crafted with the same pride that built NAS Oceana

For Veterans, Families & Aviation Enthusiasts

Whether you served at Oceana, have family stationed there, or simply respect the legacy of American naval aviation, this shirt carries meaning beyond the fabric. It's a conversation starter, a tribute, and a piece of living military history — all in one.

"The air station is not open to the public — but the pride of those who served there is."
