51st Infantry Regiment
A US Army regiment that was reorganized in 1941 as the 51st Infantry Regiment (Armored) and assigned to the 4th Armored Division. The regiment trained at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, and was affiliated with the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) programs at the University of Wisconsin, Michigan State College, and the University of Michigan.
