Die-Cut Magnets - Army - SSI - 16th Armored Division w Name Tape - Armadillo - US Army X 300

The 17th Airborne Division was activated on April 15, 1943, at Camp Mackall, North Carolina, under the command of Major General William M. Miley. The division was formed with a cadre from the 101st Airborne Division and included the 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment, the 193rd Glider Infantry Regiment, and the 194th Glider Infantry Regiment. After rigorous training, the division was prepared for deployment to Europe, arriving in England in August 1944.
