Operation Enduring Freedom Legacy

From October 7, 2001 through August 30, 2021, over 800,000 U.S. service members deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Freedom's Sentinel. They fought with valor in some of the world's most challenging terrain, from the Korengal Valley to Helmand Province, from Kandahar to Kabul.
