The term "15th Armored Division" refers to several different military units, primarily from the United States and Germany, though a planned but never activated US division also existed. The most prominent are the US 15th Cavalry Group (Mechanized) which saw action in Europe during World War II, and the German 15th Panzer Division, which fought in North Africa and Italy. Additionally, the US had a planned but never activated 15th Armored Division during WWII. The Philippine Army also has a 15th Infantry Division, which is a Ready Reserve unit.
