HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
In every country we experience different problems just like war, it happens when two or more countries have misunderstandings or issues. That's why we have soldiers to defend and protect our people.
Back on July 28, 1914, when World War I happened, many people suffered and died because of that war. It was the "End to All Wars". But as we have seen that was not true.
There are thousands of soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives to protect our beloved country. People appreciate their sacrifices, that's why we have "Memorial Day".
There, was a ceremony on May 5, 1866, honoring local veterans who had fought in the Civil War. Businesses closed and residents flew flags at half-staff.
In 1966, Congress and President Lyndon Johnson declared Waterloo, N.Y., the “birthplace” of Memorial Day.
Why do we celebrate Memorial Day?
Every last Monday of May, we celebrate Memorial Day in remembrance of the men and women who have died serving our country. Whether they died serving or died after service, they are all remembered. Their lives, time, and effort were the cost of freedom. The day should be used to think back on those who served and their ultimate sacrifice.
Why it is important to remember?
It is important to remember the day of brave soldiers who gave their lives for freedom. People and politicians must realize that war is not a game like children play.
War is a serious problem in our world that we are trying to prevent to maintain peace in our daily life and for our children's future.
That's why we, here at Military Insignia Products (MIP) are here to help you remember your loved ones, your family, and their sacrifices to fight for a better life. We provide custom design services, free of charge for your service memorabilia for your loved one.
